Telenav Congratulates GM on the Unveiling of Its 2021 Cadillac Escalade

A recent survey conducted by Nielsen Holdings, a leading global measurement and data analytics company, revealed that in-vehicle technology has become a key factor in the decision making process of new-car buyers. The survey also revealed that in-car technology is a viable means of driving brand loyalty.

Slightly over 50% of respondents in the Nielsen study said they took in-vehicle technology into consideration when purchasing a new car, while 64% said the technology in their previous vehicle brought them back to the same brand.

GM has taken this shift in consumer behavior to heart and has, not surprisingly, upped its game with their recently introduced 2021 Cadillac Escalade. This latest edition of the full-size luxury SUV includes a fully redesigned instrument cluster and center stack featuring a beautiful 38-inch curved OLED display with twice the pixel density of a 4K TV. The company’s message is clear: this is how luxury infotainment should be experienced.

Telenav is proud to be the connected-navigation supplier for the new Escalade’s infotainment system. Our cloud-first navigation technology leverages the stunning new design of the Escalade infotainment system to deliver cutting edge features like augmented reality enabled navigation, destination street view, customizable multi-screen map displays, all on a stunning curved OLED screen.

Telenav’s map rendering technology and navigation software is designed to take full advantage of the high-resolution displays, a heads-up display and two rear-seat screens to provide up-to-date navigation, traffic and Yelp point-of-interest content that’s easily accessible by driver and passengers.  Rear seat passengers can follow along on the route, search for destinations and share them with the driver making it convenient for everyone in the SUV to be part of the journey.

Telenav congratulates GM on raising the bar for excellence in connected in-car digital experiences and wishes them continued success in leading the luxury SUV category with their newly unveiled 2021 Cadillac Escalade.
