TeleNav Vehicle Manager's Electronic On-Board Recorder (EOBR) pairs with a Sprint cell phone via Bluetooth

Today we announced our latest mobile resource management service called TeleNav Vehicle Manager.

TeleNav Vehicle Manager, powered by Turnpike, combines vehicle diagnostics and IFTA Fuel Tax filing with the our TeleNav Track services including GPS-enabled navigation, tracking, wireless forms and wireless timecards.

The service uses an electronic on-board recorder that pairs (via Bluetooth) with a GPS-enabled cell phone to gather and submit engine diagnostics, driver performance information, odometer readings and more.

TeleNav Vehicle Manager is available now exclusively from TeleNav and Sprint and is ideal for organizations in the transportation industry who are looking for a combined (and cost-effective) solution to automate all of these services.
