This week, we’re continuing to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. If you haven’t already entered to win a year of TeleNav GPS Navigator for you and a friend, don’t forget! You can enter by adding a comment on this blog post about why someone else should win. It’s that easy!
In the meantime, we thought we’d share with you a video of one of the very early versions of TeleNav GPS Navigator. This is from our first color version (remember when most phones where black and white??) from 2002. It’s on a Nextel i95 phone and you can see the difference in our service from only a few years ago and now. Awww…we were so young then….

TeleNav turns 9 years old today and we have a lot to celebrate. In just 9 years, we have become the largest location-based services (LBS) company. We have accomplished so much – including:
- 15 wireless carrier partnerships – including nearly every major carrier in North America
- Availability in 21 countries
- Availability on more than 450 mobile devices – including every major platform in existence
- Numerous awards for both our products and our company
- More than 500 employees worldwide
- First class customers ranging from consumers, to SMBs, to government organizations, to large enterprises
And we’re really just beginning. We look forward to finding out what our 9th year will bring us and we plan on having another big celebration on our 10th anniversary.
