Outdoor_concertsWith summer in full swing, you may have noticed there are many events and outdoor activities to participate in throughout your city … picnics, BBQs, amusement parks and my personal favorite, summer concerts.

During the summer, there are usually an onslaught of concerts you can attend and some of them are even free. You’ll find that many cities have free outdoor concerts in popular gathering areas downtown. For example, the city of San Jose, near TeleNav HQ, hosts an annual summer series of free concerts called "Music in the Park."

I attended a concert this past 4th of July weekend, at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, Ca. Although it was not a free concert, it was well worth the price to see the great musical legend Stevie Wonder live in concert for the first time. My family and I had a blast.

I am very familiar with the Bay Area so I knew how to get to the show. However, just in case I did forget a certain street that I needed to make a turn on, it was comforting to know that I could easily use TeleNav GPS Navigator to look up the address to the theater and arrive to my destination stress-free. I was also able to let all my friends know where I was using Whereboutz on Facebook.
