With the housing market the way it is today, buyers and sellers are not the only ones impacted by the turn in the economy. Builders and remodelers have also been affected and must ensure they are doing all that they can to run efficient organizations in order to stay in business.
As GPS has helped other industries save on costs, so has it helped the construction industry. Today, TeleNav announced one such success. A company based in Branford, CT called Nobile Construction is using TeleNav Track to develop more efficient business processes and save on fuel.
One of the features of TeleNav Track that Nobile Construction is leveraging is its GPS-enabled time card capabilities. Nobile’s employees are able to clock-in and clock-out directly from their cell phones. This cuts down on unnecessary trips to and from the home office (saving on gas costs!) and also allows employees to submit their time on a daily basis, improving overall accuracy in job time keeping.
Nobile’s use of TeleNav Track was recently highlighted in a construction magazine called Remodeling Online. This is just another way that TeleNav is helping businesses become more efficient and save on costs.
