So here we are folks – we’ve widdled it down to five finalists and you now get to choose who will win an Apple iPad.
Starting today you can vote for your favorite 7 Words Contest entry and we will continue to take your votes up until Friday, March 19th. After that, we will close the polls and will announce the winner on Monday, March 22nd!
Don’t feel too bad about choosing one over the other though – at this point, they will all walk away with a prize! However, only the one (Neo?) will walk away with an Apple iPad.

It’s Hump Day folks and as I told you I would be, here I am with the top five photos submitted to our 7 Words Contest. Was it an easy process to pick the top five knowing that one of these folks would walk away with an Apple iPad? Absolutely not. It was very difficult – painstakingly so. In fact,I believe one of our judges even ended up with an injury – a paper cut… So to say that this contest hasn’t taken a toll on us, would not be the truth. But it’s all been worth it because we think we’ve chosen the best of the best of the photos which were submitted to the contest.
So here they are folks – the final five. Now it’s up to you to decide who walks away with a brand new, fresh from the tree, Apple iPad!
On Friday, we’re going to be taking votes for who you think should win our 7 Words Contest and we’ll leave it up till Friday, March 19th. Then on Monday, March 22nd, we’ll announce the winner!
It’s that simple so take a good, long look and evaluate which one you think is the best because now YOU get to choose who walks away with our prize!

So what is an Apple iPad? Just in case you’ve been living under a rock (or possibly a very large pine-cone), let’s review why the Apple iPad rocks:

So We’re Giving Away an Apple iPad- Now What?
Here at TeleNav, we’re all about getting you to the places you love. With that in mind, we thought it would be fun to run a contest that allowed you to showcase your favorite place while allowing you to have some fun. Hence, the idea for the 7 Words Contest was born.
How To Enter The 7 Words Contest?
Starting Monday, February 22nd until Sunday, March 7th, all you have to do is (1) take a photo of yourself at your favorite place holding up a note (can be handwritten) that clearly starts “Dear TeleNav,” and in the following seven words state why you love that place! Then (2) submit the photo directly on the wall of our TeleNav Facebook Page. All entries must be received by 11:59PM PST on March 7th.
For example, if you’re at a coffee shop, you might hold up a sign saying, “Dear TeleNav, I love their really big blueberry scones!” or if you’re at a restaurant, you might have a note that says, “Dear TeleNav, they have the most incredible pepperoni pizzas!”

On Wednesday, March 10th, as judged by TeleNav’s most esteemed photo panel, on our blog we will announce the top five photos based on creativity and overall quality.
Make Your Voices Heard!
After the top 5 photos are selected, we will then open up the final stage of voting to you and the rest of the people of the interwebs! On Friday, March 12th, we will post the five finalist’s photos on our blog and voting will continue until Friday, March 19th.
The winner of the 7 Words Contest and the Apple iPad will be announced on Monday, March 22nd!

It’s Friday here at TeleNav and as you can imagine, things are very busy. To tell you a little bit about what’s been going on, just last week AT&T Navigator v1.5i was rolled out for the iPhone and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. In the pipeline, we’ve got a lot of other great stuff that’s keeping us just as busy. But with all the craziness that comes with trying to make the best GPS Navigation product available, we always try to remember that life is about taking time some time out of your day to just have fun. And since we like to have fun, we think you like to have fun too.
That’s why if you follow us on Twitter and on Facebook, we’re going to be inserting a lot more fun into your day. How will we do that? On some days, we might run a really random contest, other times it might be a random giveaway. To be honest, it’s all so random that I haven’t even thought of all the possibilities yet! But no matter what the contest or giveaway, what it amounts to is a lot more fun!

Happy March, TeleNav-er’s!

Did you hear that noise that sounded like a mix between a cat who’s tail has just been stepped on and a blender full of rocks? Yup, that’d be the sound of my allergies kicking in. You see, it’s always during this time of year that my nose declares war on the rest of my body and for entire days at a time, it does everything in it’s power to physically remove itself from the rest of me…. Believe me – it’s a lot less fun than it sounds.
Okay, so maybe it’s not that bad and as much as I complain my allergies and the pain of having to worry about my oversensitivity to pollen, I honestly really do (otherwise) enjoy this time of year. Don’t you? It’s like life is waking up again and it can’t help but you give a little bit of extra energy. Spring is really a great time of year.
So on this first day of March, as we head into spring, we’ve decided it would be fun to announce that at the end of every month, we’re going to be giving away a one year subscription to our TeleNav GPS Navigator (or AT&T Navigator or Sprint Navigation) to one lucky person! How do you win? During the month (between the first day and the last day), just be sure to comment on blog posts that were published during that month. That’s it! At the end of the month, we’ll pick our favorite comment (based on the relevance as related to the blog post topic in which they commented) and that person will receive the prize! It’s that simple. And to make things easier (and increase your chances of winning), we’re putting no cap on the amount of times you can enter – the more you comment, the more chances you have to win!
But remember – once you enter, we need to be able to contact you if you win. So be sure when you comment on our blog, to leave your name and an email address where you can be contacted. If we can’t contact you, you can’t win.
