I downloaded the TeleNav GPS Navigator to try out on my Storm 2. A tip window appears that says to tap the speaker icon to have the direction audio repeated. I’m unable to find any such speaker icon. How do I get the Navigator to repeat a direction?
Thanks.

Hi Dave – you should see the speaker icon near the directions at the top – in the image above on this blog post, you can see it before the “300 ft” (under FIRST AVE). Let me know if you don’t see this on your device. Thanks! Mary Beth

Hey Mary Beth -
My Storm 2 doesn’t have the speaker icon. Instead it has 3 wave lines just before the “300 ft” designation. I tried tapping that and it does work. Thanks very much for your help.

Dave – sorry for the confusion. This is confusing. I have flagged this for the product team to see if we can modify the wording in the tip. Appreciate your alerting us to this. Have a great weekend!

I have Telenav on a storm 2. The app starts any time the quick launch button is pressed. in the blackberry options I do not have an app selected for the quick launch button. Anyone have any ideas how I can stop telenav from starting all the time?

Brian – hi there – thanks for the question. I’m happy to help. It sounds like you need to change the convenience key option within the app. To do this, open the app, go to Share and More > Preferences > Convenience Key. Change this to “Nothing.” Let me know if this doesn’t work.
